Hi Susan,
The Lambert disposition really came true with Vermont.  When we bred the first mare, Ida tied her to a post and I had Vermont with a lead.  She was so pleased with how well mannered Vermont was that from then on instead of holding her other mares most of the time we just opened Vermont's stall door and let him loose unrestrained.  I was so proud of him with his behavior and knowing that it all comes from his Lambert breeding.

I asked Ida if the trip was worth it and she said that it was more than worth it.  She is totally sold on Vermont and his breeding.  It is so nice to meet a knowledgeable breeder with a directed breeding program that recognises the value of our Lamberts.

Four mares from A-1 Morgans, Canada, were brought to Quietude Red Vermont and he settled them all!
